Chi varto kupuvati LG smartphones. Cheap flagship: chi varto cupuvati LG G6? Attach a photo in portrait mode

Golovna / Optimization of work

LG is a Korean brand that produces high-end mobile technology. TVs and other electronics, consumer electronics, and in this case mobile phones also vibrate. The main feature of LG devices is their compliance with the MIL-STD-810G and IP68 protection standards. This means that LG phones are easy to break or sink. Moreover, there is a need to focus on the middle segment, and not including flagships.

1st place – LG G8 ThinQ

The new top-class phone is still the largest from the LG line, costing about 700 US dollars on average. So, the device is expensive, but the price is justified by the functionality and cost.

What's good:

  • Water and saw protection, conforms to MIL-STD-810G standard.
  • A classy OLED screen with unmatched contrast, supported by HDR10, Dolby Vision and 100% DCI-P3 color space. Here the display also works as a boost to sound, which allows the speaker to be activated.
  • The 7-nm Snapdragon 855 processor is still the fastest Android processor that 2019 will lack.
  • Camera with wide-angle and telephoto lenses, optical stabilization. Attach a photo to marvel at everyone. Mozhlive Zjomka 4K/60 FPS.
  • 3D ToF scanner on the front panel, in addition to which the Hand ID function is implemented - knee scanning. A smartphone means a baby on the hand, as well as the expansion of veins, which theoretically will provide short-term protection. In practice, the “Sir” technology will require additional refinement, so it is not considered a serious advantage.
  • Features a 32-bit audio chip, DTS: X Surround Sound support, and headphone output.
  • 3500 mAg battery – 25 years of use and 11 years of video production at a brightness of 200 cd/m2. Shvidka charging is supported - 42% for 30 minutes; average result above the market.
  • NFC, Wi-Fi 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C.

What's so bad:

  • Hand ID technology is the main value of this flagship. Currently, the Sir function requires a lot of time to recognize the hand and unlock the device.
  • The great “monobrow” on the screen is not comme il faut in 2019.
  • Just one full-fledged multimedia speaker. As a simple speaker, there is a resonant OLED screen, which is not suitable for creating a stereo pair.
  • Low charging speed.
  • The competitors are even stronger: Huawei P30 Pro and Samsung S10.

2nd place – LG V40 ThinQ

Another flagship that is already top seller is the V40 ThinQ. In many ways it is similar to the G8 ThinQ, but it sacrifices the “gap”.

What's good:

  • Saw protection IP68 + MIL-STD-810G; It is exposed to water and has 30 layers of water at a depth of up to 1.5 meters.
  • P-OLED display with separate 3120×1440, Gorilla Glass 5, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support.
  • 3-module camera with basic telephoto and wide-angle lenses, optical stabilization, 2x-zoom. Attach a photo from your camera to be amazed by everyone.
  • 32-bit audio chip, DTS support: X, and the sound from the headphones is excellent, and there is a 3.5 mm output.
  • Shvidka charging Quick Charge 3.0 – 50% for 36 hvilins.
  • Bezdrotovo charging 10 W.
  • NFC, Wi-Fi 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0 with atpX HD support.

What's so bad:

  • The battery has a capacity of 3300 mAg - lasts 21:41 years and a little more than 10 years when creating video at a brightness of 200 cd/m2.
  • Snapdragon 845 processor (10 nm) – the G8 has a 7 nm SD855.
  • Highly sophisticated color – medium-high DeltaE is up to 4, which is not typical for flagships.
  • The anterior chamber is weak.

However, due to the shortcomings, the LG V40 ThinQ is losing one of the best features in the LG lineup. Let me add that the new LG V50 ThinQ is already on the way - check it out in the next quarter of 2019. The phone has an SD855 processor with a 5G modem - relevant for New Korea, where the 5G network is fully operational.

3rd place – G7 ThinQ

Denmark's flagship 2018 has become the best in terms of sound and seating in 1st place in . A QUAD DAC ES9218P audio chip with 8 DAC modules is installed in the middle, which provides great sound for high-impedance headphones.

Other advantages:

  • Protection for saw and saw IP68 + MIL-STD-810G.
  • IPS screen with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, and a record brightness of 920 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 2044:1. This is one of the finest IPS panels in the world.
  • The flagship processor of 2018 is the 10nm Snapdragon 845. This one comes with the LG G8 ThinQ with the SD855 chip.
  • Sound LG G7 ThinQ is one of the best phones on the market for sound.

Nedoliky:

  • Weak autonomy - less than 23 years of production and up to 10 years of video creation.
  • Photos with poor lightening, low brightness and unworthy of a flagship.
  • 4K video recording is available, but without EIS. The brightness of the video is high, but with EIS it would be better.
  • Design – large unibrow for the beast.

The smartphone is a big deal, since there is no money on the LG G8 ThinQ, but the priority for you is sound quality.

Vidguki:

4th place – G7 Fit

This model can hardly be considered a flagship, but rather a mid-segment one, albeit based on the fastest processor of 2016-2017. Honestly speaking, LG is a little bit amazing. Instead of using current mid-range chips (on the Snapdragon 710 or 712), LG installs older flagship processors.

What's good:

  • Protection from water and saw + MIL-STD-810G.
  • A very cool IPS screen with a separate 3120×1440 screen with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support.
  • There is a 32-bit audio chip with additional DTS:X, and a headphone output.
  • The camera with a separate 16 MP unit and a 4K video recording function is bad. The sarcasm is consistent with the middle class.
  • The adapter is charged with QC 3.0 support at 18 W.
  • NFC, USB-Type-C, Wi-Fi 5 GHz.

What's so bad:

  • A weak 3000 mAh battery with a high-quality IPS screen does not inspire confidence - ensure that the phone has to be charged today.
  • The old Snapdragon 821 processor, which was installed on the Xiaomi Mi 5s 2016 release.
  • Price – 400-420 US dollars. For less money you get better options, even without a visible audio chip and water protection.

Corrisna information:

5th month – Q7

And finally - a “state employee” for little money. And although the Q7 model is brought to the low segment, it also has water protection and compliance with the MIL-STD-810G standard. The device is based on the Snapdragon 450 processor, out of the box comes with Android 8.1 OS, in the middle is a weak Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 graphics.

The support for DTS: X is declared, so the sound is traditionally good. Screen – 5.5 inches, IPS, with Full HD+ separate part. As long as there are cameras, they are reminiscent of the middle class and you can see pictures from the world during the day, pictures without details - at night.

We are testing the first smartphone of the LG Q series. The LG Q6 model, which is a star of the middle price segment. Is it possible?

Advantages

  • It’s wonderful to lie by the river,
  • even brighter screen 18:9,
  • "frameless" body,
  • good main camera,
  • the fluidity of the robot is normal,

Nedoliky

  • the price is too high
  • back cover made of plastic,
  • less than one Wi-Fi band
  • permanent battery
  • No fast charging
  • microUSB 2.0 port
LG positions the Q6 as a thin, bezel-less smartphone. Well, the Full Vision 18:9 aspect ratio effectively adds a thinness to the smartphone, but, like the G6, we can’t say that it’s completely frameless. Otherwise, the frames, although they stink, are mostly absent, and, perhaps, not all the attachments. It’s true that the world still doesn’t have a frameless phone. Even the shortest representatives of this model, the Samsung Galaxy S8/Note8, have minimal frames, with approximately 1mm on the right and left sides. I'm sorry to say that the build speed of the LG Q6 is disappointing. I know, the back is made of plastic. Ale me, in front of my colleagues, didn’t give in to the mess for two years. Perhaps, everything depends on how you behave with your smartphone.

Skoda, the smartphone does not have a sealed case (although field tests have shown that the Q6 is not afraid of water). And the microUSB 2.0 port is not a serious problem. I'm tired of the daily charging, although in terms of productivity, having shown the LG Q6 to be faster than everything else, we don't have to deal with the problem of the Q6 not reaching the end of the day.

No finger sensor

The LG Q6 screen has a diagonal of 5.5 inches from its 18:9 aspect ratio (the effective diagonal in 16:9 mode is less than 5.2 inches). Podovzheny body to rob yogo suprazvichayno handy at the bottom. The digital camera lens on the back panel is located close to the cut, so that, for all we know, we won’t be able to touch it with our finger unless we instinctively read the finger sensor.

As you understand, the finger scanner is available every day. The smartphone can be unlocked traditionally - there are many users of this solution, using an additional code or pattern key. If the phone is not blocked, it can be activated by tapping on the screen (roughly, seemingly “tapping”). It also supports unlocking of Bluetooth devices, and the new ones have a face recognition function. The function is also biometric, but it cannot be an alternative to a finger scanner. It works in different ways and will require a clearer explanation. There is more blurring, less for older readers with fingertips, but there are generally no problems with recognition. This kind of blocking works well every day, but in poorly lit areas - the mind works with minimal lighting. If it is too light, you may need an hour or so to enter your PIN code.

LG Q6 - price

The average price of a smartphone at the time of publication is 17,500 rubles.

FullVision screen

LG Q6 is equipped with a Full Vision screen with 2160 x 1080 pixels. Like G6, you can adapt the extensions to match the aspect ratio 18:9. The 16:9 mode for content is FullHD and more - a panel with buttons and a panel that encourages the use of high-quality pixels when working in portrait orientation. The 18:9 aspect ratio is ideal for films in wide formats or lower than 16:9 formats.

The screen gives very good colors (although not as ideal as the G6) and more detailed images. It has a clear feel for the dot and enough brightness to work in most situations (and I note that more often, less often, I set the brightness to 50 points or more). With strong dim light, the Q6 does not cope well after turning on the automatic mode (which can increase brightness), but this is a problem with other smartphones (even though Super AMOLED screens have this problem practically eliminated).

What's in the middle? Snapdragon 435 is there

The smartphone we selected for testing has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, of which about 22 GB is available to the user. Memory can be increased using microSD cards. I didn’t experience any particularly high productivity (report below), but, despite the fact that I had a particularly powerful job, I didn’t have a platform for any kind of money-grubbing job productivity.
The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 435 – not the most powerful processor.

There is a speaker on the rear panel. He plays loudly, but without any special features. The 3000 mAg battery is invisible, which means that microSD and nanoSIM memory cards are placed in the hanging tray.

What other functions are there?

Hm. I would see recognition of individuals as the main function. And also... It’s a pity, there’s nothing else to particularly boast about. Connect Wi-Fi – only one band (802.11n). LG Q6 has a standard set of functions (except for the finger sensor, which simply does not work) and Android 7.1.1. It’s all about satisfying the needs of rich rich people. What's so great about the LG Q6 is that the most important miraculous “function” is that everything works very smoothly as a whole, and not just outside the features.
The equipment is not very rich. Standard headphones, a traditional cable for the charging device (LG Q6 does not support wireless charging) and a pin for removing the slot for memory cards and nanoSIM.

In two words - zagalom is enough, but uyava is not hostile

The shutdown of the Snapdragon 435 means that we may not have the best smartphones, otherwise we won’t be able to set productivity records. Although unimportant on the whole, for two years I have not felt great discomfort. However, it turned out that Snapdragon 435 and 3 GB of RAM are enough for comfortable work. So, the launch of various add-ons, including games, gives a little effort, but not so much that I can’t afford to play my favorite mobile games. The fluidity of the work, both great and small, can be noted by opening the photo or video editing tools. The work with the heavy-duty LG Q6 smartphone is running, but fortunately, there hasn’t been any processing for a long time. All it took was a little patience, and you could edit the video recorded by Q6, or heavily edit the photo in Snapseed. With padded bags, the LG Q6, as I already said, runs extremely smoothly.

Robot hour

The battery capacity of 3000 mAh allows for significantly longer hours of work than competitors. An hour of autonomous operation of the LG Q6 will ensure more comfortable use throughout the day, and if it is a little modest, then the battery charge can be drained until the next day. A fully charged battery allowed you to watch videos for 10 years. Web surfing has been around for almost 11 years. These are not miraculous results, but don’t worry about what I wrote above. The battery consumption in the cooldown mode is not very high. There is a chance that you can safely use your smartphone without recharging after several days in the wash mode. Unfortunately, the LG Q6 does not have fast charging - with a standard charger you will need to wait about 2 years to fully charge the battery. The smartphone noticeably heats up when running other more powerful programs, but without exceeding the unsafe level.

Operating system and accessories

LG Q6 is equipped with Android 7.1.1 and LG UX - this means that we can take advantage of all the features offered by the remaining version of the operating system. It is also planned to upgrade to Android 8.0 (Oreo). The software is similar to other LG smartphones with an emphasis on simplicity. As before (in most pure Android), it is installed by Google programs. There are not many additional add-ons - only everything is necessary (a special camera add-on, a simple voice recorder, File Manager, LG Mobile Switch for transferring between devices, Quick Memo+). And also Google Assistant, which can speak Russian in a very sensitive manner.

Scaling of add-ons

The LG Q6 screen may still have a non-standard 18:9 aspect ratio, so that you can scale the extension windows in display settings. We can choose one of three robot modes – super with 16:9, Full screen LG Q6 18:9 and the middle between them – 16.7:9. The remaining mode is brown, if the program is particularly bad and operates in a mode dedicated to 16:9.

Camera LG Q6

An hour for practical testing of the camera.

Security camera software

LG decided not to make the camera too static. There are also three modes: Auto, Panorama and Hedgehog. The remaining mode, paradoxically, is best suited if you want to change the white balance (before speech, and so it’s best to select in automatic mode). Can be removed in different proportions. Naturally, 4:3 images (13 megapixels), 16:9 and 18:9. It remains, it seems, to give a wider field of view, lower main mode, and therefore an illusion. Photo 18:9 is part of frame 4:3, cropped to the animal from below. A 1:1 square mode is also available, also in conjunction with the G6. Є mode of forward viewing of the captured image, mode of combining photographs, and you can also create a mosaic from several photographs. Square photo mode (1:1), combined with continuous capture mode (for a series of up to 30 photos), is ideal for creating animated GIF files. GIF files can also be created through the gallery by selecting photos, which is used by Wikorist for creating GIFs. Which version has a larger selection of photographs, but also created GIFs directly from a series of photographs. Video stabilization is available in video mode, and the maximum video resolution is 1080/30p. There are no shortcut modes or time-lapse.

Attach a photo

The photos of the LG Q6 are good and it’s obvious that the smell is natural.

The Q6 obviously doesn't produce as good or detailed photos as the G6, and there's no reason to be disappointed. Photos are a bit of an eye-catcher, but not a big deal. However, at a larger scale, you can see that small pictures are moving along the edges of the lenses, which includes the optics that are being processed, as well as image processing. With little lightening (which also means bringing down the dark parts of photographs taken during the day), photographs are already noticeably shaky, and, obviously, at the expense of the camera. The lack of optical stabilization (only electronic video works poorly) can lead to blurring. With low lighting, it is also easy to remove blurred photographs (we count them for being out of focus), and photo processing artifacts abound. Є panorama capture mode. The photographs come out quite nasty. With a horizontally oriented camera, the panorama spans around 360 degrees, and the file size is close to 30 megapixels (12272 x 2384 pixels).

Selfie

Selfies come out strong. I especially can’t look at the front camera. So, of course, it could be better, but on the right it’s better for everything in my not the most photogenic. Plus there’s a lot left in the minds of the loan.

Capturing videos other than Full HD

Video speed is close to 17 Mbit/s in 1080/30p mode. Video is terrible, autofocus is wasted where needed, stabilization is not needed. If you want to be electronic, it’s better to do your job. Even though Full HD is allowed, the speed of data transmission (17 Mbit/s) is too low for such a resolution. When viewed on a computer screen, videos no longer look the same, although on a smartphone they still look decent. Example of the video taken: Example video of the night:

Summary

It's not easy to objectively evaluate the LG Q6. This smartphone with a front panel design and frames similar to LG G6, with an 18:9 screen, which fits well on the back and looks very classy for its price range. Criticism of the plastic rear cover is a big deal, but I understand that it could be critical for the rich.
The LG Q6 has a very good FullVision 18:9 screen (a common fault in this class of products), which I only complain about in the open air on sunny days – and the rest of the time it doesn’t seem to be bad. The photographs are quite decent. I would like to say that I can hardly handle criticism at the address of the main chamber, which is already circulating in the margins. It’s true, everything is fine with the camera until it gets dark) When I wrote this text, I didn’t know the estimated price of LG Q6. I took out insurance for 13,000 rubles and had mercy. It costs over 17,000 rubles. Let's say, you can practically buy it for so little money, which has low objective advantages. First of all, it has a waterproof case, a finger sensor and a Super AMOLED screen, and it looks more solid.
LG Q6 is a good smartphone, but there is not enough technology in this price range. For all that, one Full Vision screen is not enough for a manual robot. Purchases in the price range of 15,000-20,000 rubles will receive at least a waterproof case and a finger scanner. This absence of daily contact with the Q6 did not matter to me, although I felt a sense of insecurity throughout the first years of the year. In addition, the finger sensor is used not only for unlocking the smartphone. Despite this caution, LG needs to be praised. Not for the price, but for the direct price that the company purchased the folding LG G6, and then the entire Q line.

Video review

We invite you to admire the video of our colleagues:

The Korean corporation LG often releases new mobile devices to the market, which tend to offer the most advanced technical equipment. Previously, it worked much more often, but now everything is reduced to a dozen new smartphones soon. However, almost all of them fail in sales, not only in Russia, but also in Europe, and even on the home market – in New Korea.

It is clear that this does not happen just like that, but immediately through a number of reasons. The easiest way is to look at the situation on a specific application. In the spring of 2017, the most popular flagship smartphone LG G6 (Snapdragon 821), which cost 51,990 rubles, was on sale in Russia, while the Samsung Galaxy S8 (Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895) was sold for 54,990 rubles. The difference between these two mobile devices is colossal, but on the right there is no one.

In just a month, it will be cheaper to buy an LG G6 in Russia on the “gray” market, and then sell it for 27-28 thousand rubles, which is perhaps half the original price. This is probably one of the reasons why LG smartphones always fail in sales. The company is pursuing a completely incorrect pricing policy, trying to make its brand valuable for high prices in these and other regions, but there are still a lot of rocks that we cannot understand why it is not doing so.

Reduced official price for LG G6

Since the price of any LG G6 was pre-determined in several regions, including Russia and all of Europe, it will inevitably fall to a minimum level, revealing the whole real truth. Let’s say, LG initially sold its flagship for 41,990 rubles, if it were 10,000 rubles cheaper, then it would have sold more buyers.

Based on this, many buyers understand that at the start of sales of the LG V30 you can buy, for example, for 64,990 rubles, then after 2-3 months the price tag will drop by almost 40%, then you will simply overpay, I Who can you just check ? If the quality of an LG smartphone drops to such a level, then there is already more demand on the market for functionality, technical equipment, capabilities and the price of mobile devices that buyers choose in the end pouch.

Another reason why many people do not want to buy LG smartphones lies in the early discovery of the popularity of branded mobile devices. Even when the Android operating system was only actively developing and was still “young”, this pseudo-Korean corporation often “dumped” buyers into expensive flagship smartphones on the new PZ, and its yakism deprived them of the best ones - everything is all the same. Muvalo, the modem was damaged, there were problems with the Swiss system robots and energy efficiency.

All things considered, a lot of people who previously used LG smartphones no longer want to be part of this company if they talk about mobile devices. I would like to continue this library and give more respect to the software, which is now regularly updated, but the memory of early deceptions is still alive. Perhaps the only way out of this situation is to release LG smartphones under a different brand, which would at the same time ruin a lot of other companies. Moreover, it is necessary to work for competitive prices, and not ask buyers to overpay half the price for the “premium” LG brand.

Most people, when buying a TV, are less concerned about the fact that the technology itself stagnates during the process of matrix generation. A shopper comes to the store and wants a new TV: the ideal candidate is “flat, with a large diagonal, and cheaper.” And also - “to show it off.” And it’s already clear at home that the picture is blurry, you can’t see from the corners (you can only see someone sitting in the center), and the electrics are like an unpretentious wolf.

The buyer himself understands that he is stingy to pay double, and the discomfort from looking at it is not comparable to those “loan” tens of dollars that he would have had to pay for a bright TV with the same price. a little less diagonal.

Reasonable language

OLED technology (Organic Light Emitting Diode, organic light-emitting diode) has been around for a long time, but its developments today are such that you can know about the technology itself and about those that are the “omic ball”, but with which there is little evidence These capacities are OLED- TV in the form of a simple LCD.

If it’s difficult for anyone to describe my technology in words, we’ll try to simplify it for those who don’t care. According to the encyclopedia, for the creation of organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), “thin-melt rich-spherical structures are formed that are formed from balls of small polymers.” To put these other words into human language, we can say that an OLED TV is not a TV whose matrix has organic light-emitting diodes as its main functional element. The principle of operation is based on the transmission of electrical impulses through organic semiconductors to produce a bright glow of the remaining ones: a selection of different luminophores allows you to match the given color. Therefore, with the help of an additional combination of red, blue and green organic light-emitting diodes, a large number of different and yellow colors can be obtained.

LG has supplemented everything with patented WRGB technology (white subpixel technology). This is a proprietary technology for the formation of color shades on LG TV screens, like a unique RGB system (which is formed, as can be seen in the previous paragraph, not only from three pixels of different colors: red, blue and green), and the additional fourth subpixel of the white color . This solution allows for more intense, accurate and realistic transmission of colors and different colors. Thus, the technology gives the maximum number of colors that can be transmitted, and with the bonus it has less wasted energy than other competitive technologies.

With my simple words

To get out of complex explanations about OLED in technical terms, you can explain the advantages and disadvantages of OLED more simply and point by point.

Let's go over the top. The first of them is very high contrast and brightness parameters with lower energy consumption than traditional rare crystal (LCD) or plasma TVs.

In other words, the OLED display is much thinner than the thinnest modern LCD screen - the thickness of the OLED becomes millimeters (the size of the fingers of one hand). This allows you to create very thin panels: this is especially important for mobile phones and other gadgets for which compactness is of prime importance today. And we are not talking about “the phone needs to bend”, since this is a problem with the transmitter of the case, not the display.

The third is the ability to create curved screens, which have not yet been missed by video processors (created curved TVs and smart phones, for example).

The fourth advantage comes directly from the first and the other: smaller dimensions and weight of the end device, which reveals the possibility of a folding screen with a large separation in relation to the physical size of the screen.

This is the advantage of great beauty when viewed in a similar manner to traditional RK panels: you can look at the images without wasting your attention under any circumstances. This, of course, can be said about IPS panels, but they still cannot completely replace simple LCD matrices of the TN+film type, so this advantage is still significant. It’s just like mitta’s vodguk.

Well, I will continue to appreciate the benefit of perhaps more manufacturers of monitors for industrial devices: this is a large range of operating temperatures (from -40 to +70 ° C)

And OLED has some shortcomings, obviously. Today, the number one problem is to pay a high price, which, however, comes with all the innovative technologies that are just beginning to enter the lighting market. However, the same company LG has already begun to address this problem by releasing an inexpensive 55-inch OLED model LG 55EC930V with a Full-HD and curved screen, which made it possible to completely optimize the production of OLED panels. The new product features an updated design - finally, the TV can now be hung on the wall - and a new webOS operating system, which runs on the “intelligent” Smart TV platform. The 55EC930V is packaged in 150-160 thousand units. rubles and the most affordable OLED TV with a curved screen today.

OLED of today

If you ask yourself “why such wonderful projects have not been carried out before,” then the answer is simple: progress in this period was hindered by the light crisis of 2009. The virus industry had only recently begun to emerge, but as a result of the crisis, all the cards were thrown into disarray, and the industry turned to real production plans only at once.

Considering that OLED displays are thin and can bend, they can accommodate the curved new-fangled screens. And how is it possible to point OLED TVs at the company LG, which is releasing far from the first model of such a TV, and, apparently, has already begun to fine-tune their production, to reduce devices from “children’s illnesses” and – y It’s important for the final buyer to reduce the cost I'll arrange it.

Recently introduced to the public, the 65-inch LG 65EC970V TV also has a curved screen. In contrast to the latest models, this comes with an updated design and a new operating system, and the picture is shown in separate 4K (Ultra HD, 3840x2160). Plus, the new patented WRGB OLED (Wide White Subpixel) technology, which we have already developed, has been introduced.

By combining this technology with a separate 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels), the 65EC970V will provide a completely new level of image clarity and realism. Color gamut can be adjusted automatically, and with an additional high level of adjustment, the proprietary High Dynamic Range (HDR) algorithm is responsible for adjusting clarity. The proprietary LG 4K Engine Pro processor allows you to extrapolate video in separate SD, HD or Full-HD formats up to 4K. And the Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC) mechanism makes the action on the screen smoother, clearer and more realistic.

With special respect, please add stands. It is almost impossible to throw a TV over a metal stand. It can be hung on the wall using the special fastening design included in the kit. In addition, the 65EC970V has a new set of interfaces, including 4x HDMI 2.0, and the good old SCART is still there, although it looks like a wine adapter.

Alya is especially disgusted by communism. Only 4.3 mm (that’s right - the size is about a millimeter on the fingers of one hand), without affecting the unit with TV filling, and it allows us to call this device the thinnest and most sophisticated TV with such a large screen size.

The software filling is still not present: the OLED TV 65EC970V has the full functionality of a Smart TV, which is ensured by the new webOS operating system, which has become more user-friendly, smarter and faster. The fluidity of the work is an important factor, since the system is task-rich and allows you to work instantly with no additional add-ons, including a browser. Adjustment of the image is very rich (including twenty-point white balance), in addition to most TVs, so you can create a picture that is simply ideal for yourself at the right time. The model is expected to be on sale in 2014 and will be just a great gift for the New Year.

And, of course, with these TVs the buyer receives all the advantages of OLED technology.

We know about the bad and good sides of this phone, we can guess about its technical characteristics, and finally we come to the conclusion: why is the smartphone a failure for the company, and why is it worth its pennies today?

After a controversial experiment with the modular LG G5, the Korean phone maker had a hard time. But it turned out that the other G6 burned out without correcting the situation. The smartphone appeared to be a good one by itself, but it competes with the Galaxy S7 Edge, which is the best in the world.

What a nasty thing

The heart of the phone is the 8-core Snapdragon 821 with Adreno 530 graphics. And all would be nothing, except at the same moment competitors debuted, looming “on board” Snapdragon 835 or Exynos 8895 - more energy-efficient solutions.

And the LG phone, having chosen an older generation system, apparently shortened the life of the G6 battery. Increase the possibility of inductive charging in the European model and the average camera - we will accept a phone that does not cost 60 thousand. rubles! Now let's face it: the main problem with the G6 was the astronomical price. We'll get back to her a little later.

What's good

The short ones presented in the front section, of course, do not cross the lines of the device. The phone is characterized by high brightness and durability, and has an IP68 water resistance certificate. The front part of the device is occupied by a 5.7″ IPS LCD display with a very high pixel density (564 dpi), protected by Gorilla Glass 3. After the premiere, the smartphone, as before, looks solid. The camera, although not the best on the market, is pleasant.

The speed of recording 4K video is 30 frames per second, 1080p - 60 frames per second. The Snapdragon 821 processor is not a “productivity demon”, but most of the powerful benefits and add-ons are not a problem for anyone, which is further confirmed by the conversion: the results of synthetic tests are not necessarily a priority when purchasing.

Summary: G6 would be a truly acceptable smartphone with good solutions, as if it had entered the market earlier or would have been cheaper.

At the end of 2018, what is the model?

It’s important that the LG G6 is positioned as the cheapest flagship in 2017. Alas, it’s a pity that the sale of the product turned out to be a surprise for the Korean winegrower. Potential clients gave preference to a trifle more expensive Galaxy S8 or tried solutions on the already cheap S7 Edge. And LG rated their vibration very highly - as a result, the market quickly turned the Koreans from heaven to earth.

The sales rate of LG G6 turned out to be quite weak, so the manufacturer quickly began to reduce the price of the product. In just a few months after the debut of the smartphone, the price dropped by 40%. And now you can get a G6 for about 20-25 thousand. rubles In our opinion, the prices and benefits are quite consistent.

LG G6 is a mid-range smartphone at an affordable price. On the day of release it was difficult to say about the same one, but now it’s completely different on the right. This situation can teach us one thing - it’s not good to buy a new product right on the day of the premiere. Especially, let's talk about the LG product. Today the G6 is a good smartphone for the money. We're so glad!
