To understand why the M9 is not a success, we need to take a closer look at the competitors' devices - iPhone 6/6s and Samsung Galaxy S6. The Koreans from Samsung decided to try one of the biggest shortcomings of their flagships - the non-ostentatious design. Samsung Galaxy S6 is at the forefront of new technology and metal, and has won success and recognition from the side of the world. Apple's devices with its millions of audiences were always successful, and the "most" line of smartphones itself was no longer bad.

In contrast to its competitors, HTC decided not to make radical changes. In terms of design, the HTC One M9 differs little from the M8 – moreover, smartphones have almost the same displays. Most manufacturers introduced new cameras, hardware and batteries. What can you tell HTC? Use a little bit of over-processed shell of HTC Sense 7.

In any event, the HTC One M9 has straightened out the features of its predecessor and showed a whole new look. The design of the HTC One M9 and M8 is the same as the iPhone 5s and 5. Both smartphones have a new design concept and are equipped with new displays. However, a number of other changes change the M9 from the M8.

The most noticeable thing about these changes is the new two-tone barbering. The smartphone is available in three color options: gold and silver, solid gold, and metallic and gray.

For the back panel, instead of the curved surface of the HTC, the thick edge that connects the front panel to the back panel was curtailed. The lock and unlock key has been moved from the top to the right panel. It is now located directly under the volume control buttons. The Super LCD3 matrix displays colors poorly and has good contrast and depth of black. It's still not comparable to Super AMOLED from Samsung, but it will be less sufficient for the most demanding applications. Increased dynamics and brightness of sound

Following tradition, the HTC One M9 is equipped with a pair of stereo speakers, enhanced by Dolby Audio.
